Installing head support components (1525EF pump only)
Replace the high pressure seal while the head is disassembled. See page 5-6
for more information.
Perform these steps only if you have the 1525EF model:
1. Lay the head support on a hard surface, back side up.
Tip:
The back side of the pump head support is identified by the larger
wash seal cavity. The following figure shows the back side of the pump
head support.

2. Insert the wash seal spacer into the wash seal cavity at the center of the
head support.
3. Using the wash seal installation tool, press the wash seal spacer until it
bottoms in the wash seal cavity.
4. Rotate the wash seal spacer with a screwdriver until its slots line up
with the holes in the edge of the head support.
Doing so creates a fluid path for the seal wash solvent.
