Once the transmission oil has been drained:
First fill the wheel reduction transmission, after you have 1.
aligned the wheels as illustrated in (Fig. 97).
The transmission oil must be at or below the bottom 2.
edge of the opening.
Insert the sealing plug Item e. 3.
Install the hex socket screw on the differential housing 4.
Item b (Fig. 95) back in.
Pour new transmission oil through the filler neck into the 5.
axle Item a (Fig. 95).
The transmission oil must be at or below the bottom 6.
edge of the filler neck.
Install the hex socket plug Item b (Fig. 95) on the dif- 7.
ferential housing back in.
Check the axle oil level once again after half an hour of 8.
operation on the transfer case housing, the differential
housing, and the wheel reduction gears, and add trans-
mission oil if necessary.
Stop the loader on a horizontal surface and set the park- 1.
ing brake.
Lower the loader lift arms and attachment to the ground 2.
or work surface.
Stop the engine. 3.
Place a sufficiently large receptacle under the drain 4.
opening of the differential housing item b (Fig. 95).
Remove the hex socket plug Item a (Fig. 95); the trans- 5.
mission oil will now drain more quickly.
Remove the hex socket plug Item b (Fig. 95). 6.
The transmission oil drains off. 7.
Lift the wheels with a jack and turn them so that the 8.
sealing plugs Item e (Fig. 97) are down.
Place a receptacle under the sealing plugs Item e (Fig. 9.
97) and remove them.
