Contrast and lighting control
Press key 5 (the rightmost button) to access the ligh-
ting and contrast menu. Then press relevant keys to
adjust levels and press exit to store these settings.
The display unit has 5 lighting levels.
Engine page
This page is always displayed after the start-up
screen. It shows the engine rpm value and boat speed
as standard gauges, a fuel computer and the fuel tank
level. The fuel tank level will only be displayed if the
relevant data is received.
Scale values for max engine rpm and max boat speed
can be set in the configuration menu, which will be de-
scribed on the following pages.
The lower display window provides access to fuel
computer data and also shows fuel tank level(s). Vari-
ous data can be displayed by repeated pressing of the
engine key (key 1). For twin-engine option, the data is
a total measurement for both engines.
Data available is similar to an automotive in-car fuel
computer. Only metric units shown but other units can
be displayed if selected in configuration menu.
The engine page will be described in detail later in this
chapter.
Data communications failure
If the unit does not detect EVC engine data transmis-
sions the data communications failure pop-up window
will flash. Once data transmissions have been detec-
ted/restored the pop-up window will dis-appear and
normal data display will continue.
Single engine screen
Twin engine screen
