Fix the gear in a vise. Use soft facings on the vise

jaws. Then disassemble hook nut with tool no.

Fix the bearing housing in a vise. Press a screw-

driver into the seal ring. Then place a thick piece of
rubber or leather between the screwdriver and the
bearing housing casting. Prize out the seal ring and
scrap it.
