Eccellenza Café – Service Manual

August 5, 2013

Replacing the Inlet Valve

Switch the machine power off and unplug the service cord.

Disconnect the water supply and drain the water tank.

Remove the water tank valve cover – this provides easier access to the valve.

Loosen the two screws securing the top of the valve cover.

Pull the top of the cover towards you and lift it to free it at the

bottom.

NOTE:

The inlet valve consists of an assembly of hoses, fittings and a backflow

prevention valve secured together by Oetiker (circle) clamps. To replace any
component on this assembly, existing clamps will need to be removed and discarded.

New

clamps must be installed when re-assembling the inlet valve components.
