Chapter 7: Initial Configuration
Wave Server Installation Guide
To shut down and power off the Wave Server:
1.
Press and hold the red button on the ISC1 or ISC2 (depending on the Wave Server model)
for approximately 3-4 seconds. When LED3 begins to flash red/green, you can let go of
the red button and the system will proceed with a graceful shutdown.
2.
System shutdown begins, and when complete, the Wave Server powers itself off.
Note:
For a detailed description of the system status LED sequence during system
shutdown, see page C-6.
To restart the Wave Server after powering off:
1.
On a Wave IP 2500, turn the power switch on the back of the Wave Server off, wait at
least 30 seconds, and then turn the power switch back on.
On a Wave IP 500, press the red button on the front panel to power up. Note that if you
are running an external power supply to support digital phones, this needs to be powered
up as well.
2.
When you observe the following pattern on the ISC1 or ISC2 LEDs, the system is fully
operational:
