x) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly
maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting
edges are less Iikely to bind and are easier
to control.
y) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits
etc. in accordance with these instructions,
taking into account the working conditions
and the work to be performed. Use of the
power tool for operations different from those
intended could result in a hazardous
situation.
z) Careful handling and use of battery devices:
Charge the batteries only in chargers that
are recommended by the manufacturer. Risk
of fire.
If a charger that is suitable for a specific type
of battery is used with other batteries.
• In the power tools, use only the batteries
designed for the purpose. The use of other
batteries may result in injuries and risk of
fire.
• Keep the unused battery away from paper
clips, coins, keys, nails, screws and other
small metal objects, which could cause
bridging of the contacts. A short circuit
between the battery may cause burns or fire.
• If used incorrectly, liquid may leak from the
battery. Avoid contact with this. In the event
of accidental contact, rinse off with water. If
the liquid gets into eyes, seek medical
assistance. Leaking battery fluid may cause
skin imitations or burns
• Observe the operating manual and the safety
instructions enclosed with the rechargeable
battery or charging unit.
4) Maintenance and storage
a) When the machine is stopped for servicing,
inspection, or storage, or to change an ac-
cessory, shut off the power source, discon-
nect the machine from the supply and make
sure that all moving parts are come to a com-
plete stop. Allow the machine to cool before
making any inspections, adjustments, etc.
Maintain the machine with care and keep it
clean.
b) Store the machine in a dry place out of the
reach of children.
c) Always allow the machine to cool before
storing.
d) When servicing the shredding means be
aware that, even though the power source
is switched off due to the interlock feature of
the guard, the shredding means can still be
moved.
e) Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
Use only genuine replacement parts and
accessories.
f) Never attempt to override the interlocked
feature of the guard.
g) Repair of the tool must only be carried out
by a qualified repair technician. Repair or
maintenance by unqualified personnel can
lead to a risk of injury.
5) Additional safety instructions
Make sure all the parts assembled fully and
properly before use. Operation temperature of
battery is 0 - 45°.
6) Recommendation
Avoid using the machine in bad weather con-
ditions especially when there is a risk of light-
ning. This machine is only with blower func-
tion, and with two blowing speeds (low and
high).
