2.6 ELECTRODE GASSES
The CEDI unit produces small amounts of gas containing hydrogen which is flammable and should
be vented to a point outside the building. The gas can be removed from the unit in a gas separator
and the gas outlet from the separator vented outside the building.
If a gas separator is not supplied the unit should be installed in a room provided with adequate
ventilation, see below.
2.7 VENTILATION
The unit should be operated in a properly ventilated room to prevent overheating and to remove any
traces of hydrogen not removed by the gas separator. As a general guideline the air in the room
should be changed four times per hour.
