Stuffed chicken breast
Ingredients:
3 chicken breasts
1 red pointed pepper
4-6 small potatoes
1 spring onion
1 teaspoon green curry paste
4 tablespoons cream cheese (pure or
herbs, to taste)
1 zucchini
2 carrots
salt and pepper
Preparation:
Pour water into the base of the food steamer. Put the small potatoes with peel (washed) in
a steam basket. Close the lid, switch on the appliance and set the timer to 30 minutes.
In the meantime, peel carrots and cut into sticks or slices. Slice the zucchini also.
Wash the peppers and spring onion and cut into small pieces. Mix with the cream cheese
and the curry paste. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Wash chicken breasts and tap dry, lightly pepper and salt the outside. Cut in order to
c
reate a ‘bag’ and fill with the cream cheese. Wrap fillets in cling film.
When there are 15 minutes left on the timer, add chicken breasts in another steam basket.
Depending on their thickness and the desired consistency, the carrots can also be added
at this point.
As soon as there are 5 minutes left on the timer, add the zucchinis.
Once the food steamer beeps, the food is ready and can be served. The cream cheese
filling is also suitable as a sauce. Optionally prepare more filling to use as dip.
