The test methodology is the same as for Ethernet testing. Please refer to the

RFC 2544

section for details.

Loopback

The Loopback function can be found on the Fiber Channel Home menu.

FC-1/2 Manual Loopback Setup

Modes of operation:

Manual and Responder (future)

Mode (FC layer):

FC-1 or FC-2 Layer loopbacks are supported. In FC-2 mode, the destination and source IDs

(D_ID and S_ID) are swapped including any other relevant Header fields (e.g., OX_ID, RX_ID, etc.).
