How to rectify it 

Program does not recognise 
changes. 

The program is protected. 

Disable the program protection. 

Faulty welded seam  

The welding time has been 
incorrectly set. 

Change the welding time. 

 

The welding bars are not 
correctly installed. 

Remove and clean the welding 
bars and fit them correctly.  

 

The Teflon strip on the welding 
bars in faulty. 

Replace the Teflon strip. 

 

The silicone strip on the welding 
cap pass is faulty. 

Replace the silicon strip or use it 
the other way round. 

The packaging cycle does not 
start when the vacuum chamber 
is closed. 

The electronics board is faulty. 

Replace the electronics board. 

 

The electromagnetic switch does 
not work. 

Check the switch spacing. 

Replace the switch. 

Packages are badly vacuumed. 

The vacuum setpoint or 
evaporation stage are incorrectly 
set. 

Check the settings in the 
appropriate packaging program. 

The machine does not weld or 
separate. 

Welding bars or cap  pass are 
not inserted. 

Check / insert 

 

Welding or cutting wire is 
broken. 

Replace the broken wire or send 
the welding bars to the VC999 
Customer Service Department. 

 

The thermal relay in the welding 
transformer has been triggered 
off. 

Switch off the machine, the 
thermostat comes back on after 
it has been left to cool down for 
10-20 minutes. 

 

General interruption in the 
welding or cutting current circuit. 

Call the VC999 Customer 
Service Department. 

 

The electronics board is faulty. 

Replace the electronics board. 

The machine does not respond 
when the main I/0 switch is 
turned on. 

The main plug is not plugged in. 

Insert the mains plug. 

 

The mains automatic circuit 
breaker in the controller has 
been activated. 

Turn the mains circuit breaker 
back on by flicking the lever 
switch. 

 

The fine-wire fuses have melted.  Replace the fine -wire fuses.
