7 Installation of the machine
Stability
§
Ensure that the machine is positioned horizontally.
§
Lock the two front rollers in order to maximise stability.
Panelling
Some of the panelling sheets have to be removed or
swivel doors opened to facilitate installation and
maintenance work. All the locks can be opened with
the square socket key (supplied), giving it a quarter
turn anticlockwise. The panelling sheets are then
easy to remove.
It takes a quarter turn clockwise to lock them again.

Electrical installation
DANGER
The machine may only be connected to the mains by a qualified expert (electrician), complying
with local regulations!
Procedure
The machine is supplied ready for service with a 4-core electrical cable (3 GND), although
there is no plug fitted.
§
Also comply with the details in the section on
”Technical data“ and the circuit diagrams in the
section on “Diagrams”.
§
Check that the local operating voltage, frequency
and fuses comply with the data on the rating plate
and with the Technical Data in this Operating
Manual. The rating plate is attached to the back of
the machine.
§
Wire a CEE round system plug to the electrical
cable.

IMPORTANT
The machine must not be connected if any of the data differs!
The machine may only be switched on for the first time by VC999 Customer Service personnel!
