Installing the heat pump

Fig. 4.14 Adjusting the feet

•  Pay attention to the minimum wall clearances when

installing the heat pump (see Fig. 4.2).

•  Align the heat pump horizontally by adjusting the feet.

4.13 On-site

installation

a

 Caution!

Flush the heating system thoroughly be-
fore connecting the appliance!
By doing that, residue such as welds,
cinder, hemp, putty, rust, rough dust and
similar substances are removed from the
pipes. Otherwise such substances can be
deposited in the appliance and cause
damage.

a

 Caution!

To prevent leaks, take care that no me-
chanical stresses are created on the
connection lines!

-  The installation of the pipe must be carried out in ac-

cordance with the dimensional and connection draw-
ings in Fig. 4.1.

-  The installation must be performed by a specialist fit-

ter.

-  The applicable regulations must be observed during

the installation.

h

 Note!

Air in the heating system leads to im-
paired operation and reduces the heating
output. Fit bleed valves as required.

). They are no longer needed and can be

disposed of.

•  Fit the two connecting elbows (

2

 and

3

) with the

metal support ring seals in the accessories.

•  Assemble the two connecting elbows (

4

 and

5

) with

the yellow/green flat seals supplied in the accessories.

•  The accessory kit contains an insulating pad for insu-

lating the connection plate. Fit this insulating pad to
the two right hand screwed connections (
