Alarm In:
this is used to select the required alarm number.
•
Alarm Type:
this is used to select three options, i.e. NO (Normally Open), NC (Normally Closed) and OFF. By
selecting “Normally Open”, the I/O state alarm will be activated when the sensor is ON; by setting Normally Closed”,
the I/O state alarm will be activated when the sensor is OFF; by setting “OFF”, the I/O state alarm will not trip.

Latch time:
the external sensor alarm duration can be set when a sensor alarm is detected (10sec, 20sec, 40sec,
60sec);
•
Buzzer:
this is used to program the duration of the audible signal generated when a sensor alarm is detected (OFF,
10sec, 20sec, 40sec, 60sec);
•
Post Recording:
the recording time at the end of the alarm can be set (10sec, 30sec, 1min, 2min, 5min).
•
Alarm Out:
this can be used to connect an external alarm sensor.
•
Trigger Alarm Out
: it is possible to select the Alarm Outputs that have to be activated automatically when the event
is triggered. The available options are:
o
Local: alarm output that is located on the NVR’s connector.
o
Remote (IP): alarm output that is located on each IP camera’s connector.
o
All: to select all the available alarm outputs.

Show Message:
this is used to set the appearance of the icon on the screen when a motion alarm is detected. For
icon types, see section 4.
•
Send Email
: this is used to send the alarm images to a specified email address.
•
Full screen:
the full screen display time when a sensor alarm or external alarm is detected can be set (OFF, 1sec,
2sec, 3sec, 5sec, 7sec, 10sec, 20sec, 30sec).

Record Channel:
the recording channel will be activated if an alarm is detected.
•
Copy:
this is used to copy the parameters from the current channel to another channel or to all channels.

Motion
The alarm trips when an object moves in the motion detection area. The level of sensitivity
can be adjusted according to application needs.
Alarm
The alarm can convert the alarm signal emitted by the external sensor into a signal which can
be identified by the system itself.
3.4.5.3 PTZ Linkage
If a Speed Dome Camera is connected, a link can be created between the Speed Dome Camera and the Motion alarm
and/or I/O alarm sensor. With the linkage function, the Speed Dome Camera can be made to move to the associated
preset point when a Motion alarm or Alarm sensor is triggered.
Channel:
Selects the channel to be set
Switch:
Enables or disables the PTZ linkage function
Alarm type:
Selects the type of alarm that will trigger the PTZ linkage function.
PTZ:
Associates the PTZ Speed Dome with the preset points.
