You can register on the DDNS Service website to obtain a domain name, a user name and a password.
•
Server:
select the DDNS provider.
•
Host Name:
enter the host domain name in the dynamic domain name system, e.g.: username.changeip.com;
•
User Name:
enter a registered user name before requesting a domain name.
•
Password:
enter a password set while registering a user name.
Click on the [Apply] button and reboot the NVR; then enter the domain name (e.g.
username.no-ip.com) to access the remote
NVR.
Note:
DDDNS account creation may become a charged service in the future.

RTSP
This function is used to connect a software client to the NVR via the RTSP protocol.
1. Enable the user name and the password for the NVR.
2. Select the
Network
menu and check that the DHCP Mode option is set.
3. On the NVR OSD menu
Network
→
RTSP
, enable the
RTSP
and “
Verify
” functions.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
for the
RTSP UserName
and
RTSP Password
options, insert the user name and password
used for the NVR in point 1.
4. Save the changes by clicking on [Save] and rebooting the NVR.
5. Start the VLC Player from
Media
→
Open Network Stream
and enter the following string:

A_B_C where:
•
RTSP port: 554 (default value)
•
A means ch1(00), ch2(01), etc.
•
B indicates the stream type. Main Stream (00), Sub Stream (01)
•
C indicates stream audio + video (00), only stream video (01) or only stream audio (02)
