IMPORTANT NOTE
:
Before obtaining the Urmet DDNS ID, check that the user password is enabled; otherwise,
the procedure cannot be completed.
Check that the DDNS function is enabled and that the URMETDDNS or URMETDDNS2 server is selected. Click on
the
Get
button and wait for approximately 10 seconds so that the NVR ID may be generated. This is necessary for remote
access via the Urmet Web portal (see following figure).
Take note of the ID of your NVR provided by the URMETDDNS server or the URMETDDNS2 server.
IMPORTANT NOTE
:
A DDNS server other than URMETDDNS may be used. Select the available options from the
list. For more details, follow the instructions contained in the device user manual and in the
“DDNS Configuration Guide it_en”, which can be downloaded from the Urmet website.
At this point, save the changes by clicking on [Save], close the OSD menu of the NVR and reboot the device at the
prompt. Wait for the device to restart.
A DDNS account can be requested free of charge on the
www.3322.org, www.changeip.com or www.no-ip.com websites. A
DDNS account can be requested for a charge on the
www.dyndns.org website.
