4-8. Description of arc delay function
This DC can delay the time necessary to interrupt the output from when the voltage detection level is
reached at ARC.
If the ARC detection is improved during the delay time, no interruption is carried out.
* If the current detection level is exceeded even during the delay time, an interruption is carried out.
The arc delay function can be changed on the front panel or via the SERIAL communication. This can
be used if higher arc energy needs to be set on purpose.
For instructions on how to set the parameters, see "DELY" in Section 5-1-4. In the SERIAL
communication mode, see the documents separately.

4-9. Description of hard arc function
The DC has a hard arc function to interrupt for a longer time than the micro arc interruption in the case
where ARC is repeated even after a micro acr process.

The interruption time (SHUT DOWN TIME), time for judging as an hard arc after the arc process

* At the time of a hard arc process, the number of hard arc processes is counted and the count can be
confirm on the front panel.
In addition, the use of signals from USER IO PORT allows you to load micro arc signals.
