Internal battery
The Toshiba Magnia 3310/3310R server has a built-in CR2032 lithium battery which
provides the power necessary to retain the time and system configuration information. In
normal use, the battery should last for about 5 years.
If you are unsure how to replace the battery, contact a Toshiba authorized service
provider.
Observe the following guidelines when replacing the battery:
❖
Do not charge, disassemble, or remove the battery electrode.
❖
Do not incinerate the battery or expose it to excessive heat.
❖
Store the battery in a cool dry place.
❖
When disposing of the battery, adhere to company policy and local government rules
and regulations.
❖
Fit the battery with the electrodes (+/-) correctly oriented. Otherwise you risk causing
heat, an explosion, or a fire.
❖
To ensure proper system operation, replace the battery with one of the same type.

The server uses a lithium battery. Incorrect installation or use can cause damage
by heat, fire, or explosion.
The battery can explode if it is not installed properly. Always replace the
battery with an equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer. Dispose of
used batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Removing the battery will cause the system’s configuration information to be
lost. Before removing the battery, write down your server’s configuration data
for later reentry.
