Domain/Workgroup Setting
After completing the settings on the Network Services Setting screen, the Domain/
Workgroup Setting screen appears. Use this screen to specify the computer’s domain or
workgroup.
Domain/Workgroup Setting screen
To specify the domain or workgroup to which your computer belongs:
1 Enter the domain or workgroup name. To make the server a part of a domain for the
first time, select
Create Computer Account .
2 If the server has already been registered for a domain, or you want to make the
server a part of a workgroup, click
Next . In this case, it is not necessary to create the
computer account.
3 In the Administrator text box, enter the name of the manager or administrator
account that has permission to add computers to the specified domain.
4 Enter a password for the domain manager account.
5 Re-enter the password to confirm it.
6 After making your entries, click Next .
Do not use double-quotes in your entries.
