Vial Capture Device
The lower part of the injection device consists of the vial capture device. See Figure 10 .
The function of this device are:
• to guide the syringe needle
• to acknowledge the vial presence
• to acknowledge the injector presence

Syringe
The standard syringe has 10

L capacity with 50 mm needle length.
A thorough washing of the syringe can be done thanks to the possibility of using up to four
solvents. See
Washing and Waste Tray .
To install or replace the syringe, please refer to the Chapter 3, “Installation,” and to the
Chapter 5, “Maintenance.”
Figure 11 shows the syringe housing.
