Base
It is the supporting structure of the instrument on which the sampling unit components and
accessories are positioned (sample tray, centering plate). It consists of four sections. See
Figure 7 .

• Front Section — It includes the housings for solvents vials and waste container.
On the lower front part there is a LED indicating the instrument status. For details, refer
to
“Status LED” on page 20 .
• Right and Left Side Sections — It can accommodate the, 8-position sample tray or
105-position sample tray and the centering plate for the injector.
The position of the above described accessories depends on the configuration of the
auto-injector/auto-sampler installation.
