1536K, 1984K, 2048K. In addition, the Rate item can be
set to SYNTH, which allows the use of a rate synthesizer.
When Intf is set to V.24 ASYNC, only rates from 300
bit/s to 19.2 kbit/s are available.
NOTE: SYNTH is only available if Option 147-1 is
installed.
SYNTH is unavailable in ASYNC.
3.3.21 Synth Rate
Use the Synth Rate item to set the data rate via the
synthesizer menu. The synthesizer rate can be set from 50
bit/s to 2048000 bit/s in 1 bit/s steps. The maximum data
rate is limited by the interface. This item only appears
when the Rate item is set to SYNTH. (This item is
available when Option 147-1 is installed.)
3.3.22 Rcv Clk Sel
Use the Rcv Clk Sel (Receive Clock Select) item to select
the clock that will supply the timing for data coming in on
the data interface. For a diagram of the interface leads that
are used, see Appendix B.
ST
Send Timing. The INTERCEPTOR 147 generates its
own internal clock, uses it to time received data, and
transmits it to the DTE on pin 5 (TC).
TT
Terminal Timing. The INTERCEPTOR 147 receives
the clock from the DTE on the TT lead (pin 17) and
uses it to clock/time its receive data (RD).
