INTERCEPTOR 147 2 Mbit/s and Data Analyzer

In this example, the INTERCEPTOR 147 is replacing a
DTE, and (since a V.35 interface is being tested) is
currently receiving a CTS signal (also known as CCITT
data lead 106) from the DCE.

2.6

DATA INTERFACE CONNECTORS

Use the appropriate data interface connector to connect
the test instrument to the data circuit you are testing.  Use
the 25-pin D-type V.24 interface connector to connect to
V.24 data interfaces.  Use the 50-pin D-type interface
connector to connect to V.11, V.35, and 64 kbit/s G.703
codirectional interfaces.  Use the 15-pin X.21 interface
connector to connect to X.21 data interfaces.  For
information regarding what information is carried on each
of the pins for each of the interfaces, see Appendix B.

Use the appropriate cable to connect the test instrument to
the circuit under test (see Table 2-1).
