Paper guide

Turn off the printer. Remove the power cord. Push the top cover
release to open the top cover.

Remove the left-side, right-side and lower rear covers as explained in
the earlier topic “The printer covers” on page 8-2.

Remove the feed roller as explained in the earlier topic “Feed roller”
on page 8-10.

Place the paper guide into its closed position.

Caution

The paper guide is made of plastic; be careful not to break the pins
at each end.

At each end of the paper guide, unlock the paper guide’s holder by
pushing down its locking hook while rotating the holder a

turn

counter-clockwise. Remove the paper guide holders.

Free the two spring holders by compressing their springs and
lowering them out from under the rear frames’s hooks. Lift the paper
guide up and out of the printer.

Reverse these steps to reinstall the paper guide.
