WCS Front Panel Features and Controls
To better understand the features and controls of the front panel, refer to the information below
and Figure 19 (for clarity, the unit’ s rack-mount handles and equipment mounting details have
been removed).

Referring to Figure 19 above, the WCS front panel features and controls are as follow:
AC Power Switch — The switch powers the WCS unit ON and OFF.
Status Indicators — “ AC ON” indicates that the WCS unit is powered on. “ DC ON”
indicates that the WCL488 is powered on and sending control information for use by the
slave units.
Major and Minor Fault Indicators — These indicators are discussed in detail in the
Fault Indicators
section later in this chapter.
Current Range Indicators — These indicate the current range controlled by the master
(WCL488).
