Digital List
________________________________________________ (Route: DLIS)
Up to seven separate additional devices per keyset are available on FlexSet 280x,
FlexSet 281S, FlexSet 80x, GKT and DKT2000 series with a PEX, APA, PEX/APA. The
FlexSet 40B (or DPEM) is one such device. Additional devices attached to the
terminal’s digital bus must be identified in the Digital Bus List. The terminal device is
always listed as device ID #0. Up to three FlexSet 40B units may be attached to the
FlexSet 280/281 series, FlexSet 80x, GKT or DKT2000 series sets. The first FlexSet 40B
is listed as device ID #4, the second as device ID #5, and the third as device ID #6; the
APA is ID #7. This PI branch is used to identify the device actually in use on the Coral
system. This is sometimes necessary when upgrading from a FlexSet 120L (DST)
telephone to a FlexSet 280/281 series telephone or when removing FlexSet 40Bs from a
FlexSet.
Keyset Definition
___________________________________________ (Route: KEY)
An operating profile for each keyset is defined in the keyset definition. This profile
assigns the keyset two COS levels that can be imposed during specified day and night
service periods. The profile also determines whether certain features permitted by the
station’s COS are currently enabled. See the PI, Chapter 9: Station Controls; Keyset
Definition.
Feature Control
___________________________________________ (Route: FEAT)
Determines whether certain features are currently activated or inactivated.
Station COS
____________________________________________ (Route: COS, 0)
Calling and feature privileges are determined by the Class Of Service to which each
keyset is assigned. The Coral supports up to 250 distinct COS which comprise calling
privileges, features access, etc.
Tenant COS
____________________________________________ (Route: COS, 2)
Programming the Buttons
________________________________ (Route: PROG)
Each programmable button on each keyset may be assigned a specific function, or a
series of functions. This branch also stores button programming instructions for
FlexSet 40B (DPEM) programmable expansion modules attached to a station set when
the FlexSet 40B has been identified in the Digital Bus List.
