For FlexSet 280/281, when one or more FlexSet 40Bs (or other module) are attached or when
the line distance exceeds the standard length for the gauge wire used (requires PEX or
PEX/APA module), external power must be supplied.
The power requirements for a single FlexSet-PEX and PEX/APA unit with up to three
FlexSet 40Bs are: 24 - 48 volts DC, 15 Watts maximum.
There are two types of power supplies:
a) TPS (Telephone Power Supply) for single unit supplies and
b) Central power supply for multiple unit supplies.
