To Connect the CPA to the Coral via a Standard Wall Socket
1. Place either end of the telephone line cord into the socket on the rear of the CPA marked
LINE
(see
Figure 10-3
). The cord comes with the same connector type on both ends.
The connector will fit properly in one direction only. If the connector does not go into the
socket easily, turn the connector over and retry.
The line is connected to the Coral through pins 3 and 4 on the RJ-11 line connector, as
shown in
Figure 10-8
.
2. Place the free end of the telephone line cord into the wall socket.
The connector will fit properly in one direction only. If the connector does not fit into the
socket easily, turn it over and retry.
After a brief pause the CPA will activate.
