Peripheral Card Resources

FlexSet telephone sets are connected to 8/16/24SFT, 8/16/24SFT Office,
4/8SA8F Office, 4/8SA16F Office, 4/8S8F Office, 4/8S16F Office, 8/16SFTipx,
8/16SFTsl, or 8F8Ssl Peripheral Cards. The number of FlexSet 40Bs that can be attached
to each card is given below.

8 SFT/SFTipx/SFTsl and 8F8Ssl Cards

Each port card can support up to 8 telephones and up to 8 FlexSet 40B modules. The 8
FlexSet 40Bs can be distributed as needed as long as the overall limit is not exceeded.
For example, one FlexSet 280/281 can have 3 FlexSet 40Bs attached, a second
FlexSet 280/281 can have 2 attached and three others can each have one FlexSet 40B
attached. Or, each of the 8 FlexSet 280/281 keysets can have a single FlexSet 40B
attached.

16 SFT/SFTipx/SFTsl/SFT Office Cards

Each port card can support up to 16 telephones and up to 16 FlexSet 40Bs. The 16
FlexSet 40Bs can be distributed as needed as long as the overall limit is not exceeded.
For example, one FlexSet 280/281 can have 3 FlexSet 40Bs attached, a second
FlexSet 280/281 can have 2 attached and 11 others can each have one FlexSet 40B
attached. Or, each of the 16 FlexSets 280/281 keysets can have a single FlexSet 40B
attached.

24 SFT Cards

Each port card can support up to 24 telephones and up to 24 FlexSet 40Bs. The 24
FlexSet 40Bs can be distributed as needed as long as the overall limit is not exceeded.
For example, one FlexSet 280/281 can have 3 FlexSet 40Bs attached, a second
FlexSet 280/281 can have 2 attached and 19 others can each have one FlexSet 40B
attached. Or, each of the 24 FlexSet 280/281 keysets can have a single FlexSet 40B
attached, etc.
