The Auto Measure Offset does not need to be
changed unless you:
• Reset the instrument parameters
• Use a new film/fiber probe and stage
assembly.
Change the Auto Measure Offset as follows:
1. Record the value listed as Auto Measure
Offset from the TA controller.
2. Use calipers to measure the gap in the Auto
Measure Offset Gauge, and record this
value as the Actual Size .
3. Open the probe and insert the gauge as
shown in Figure 4.2.
