10.3.2 Changing the mirrors- or beam-splitting plates

1. Release the polyamide screw item 1 and remove the mirror.
2. During the installation of the mirror pay attention, that the notch of the mirror item 2 (if present) is

located at the mirror holder surface with the oblique milling.

3. After the installation of the old - or new mirror, tighten the polyamide screw sufficiently tightly, so

that the mirror cannot be moved anymore.

Attention:

After a mirror change, the adjustment for the fiber-optic cable coupling has to be checked

and if so required carried out again.

10.3.3 Check – clean lifting module

In order to ensure the life span as long as possible, it is recommended to clean the lifting module perio-
dically.
At high switching numbers >5 mio. black abrasion can develop at the solenoid. In order not to damage
the guiding devices, all mechanical components of the lifting module should be cleaned with alcohol and
cotton swabs.

Important:

- Careful cleaning in installed condition
- The possible dirt positions are shown on

Fig. 1.

- Never move the lifting module by hand

(choose LL-Status).

- Do not loosen any screws.
- Do not clean deflecting mirrors. If there are

problems with the deflecting mirrors, please

inform the responsible customer service.
