Chapter 6: Setting Up Inputs and Outputs
Isolated Binary Outputs
There are 10 choices available for a binary output. Use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to scroll through
them.
OFF
The OFF setting disables the binary output and is the default setting for all four of the binary outputs.
BORON STREAM X
The BORON STREAM X setting causes the binary output to activate when a preset threshold is met.
STATE
The STATE setting will activate the binary output when the Analyzer is stopped (either by normal means or
a fatal error).
RES ERROR ANY STREAM
The RES ERROR ANY STREAM setting causes the binary output to activate when the resistivity is low
enough to trigger an error or warning.
ERROR
The ERROR setting causes the binary output to activate when an error condition occurs on the Analyzer.
RES ERROR STREAM X
The RES ERROR STREAM X setting causes the binary output to activate when the resistivity is low
enough to trigger an error or warning.
READY STREAM X
The READY STREAM X setting causes the binary output to activate when a boron measurement has
completed on the specified stream.
RES WARN ANY STREAM
The RES WARN ANY STREAM setting causes the binary output to activate when the resistivity is low
enough to trigger an error or warning.
BORON ANY STREAM
The BORON ANY STREAM setting causes the binary output to activate when a preset threshold is met.
RES WARN STREAM X
The RES WARN STREAM X setting causes the binary output to activate when the resistivity is low enough
to trigger an error or warning.
