Check the con-
troller card for
overheating.
1. Make sure that the motor intake is not blocked.
2. Make sure that the motor fan is not damaged.
3. Make sure that the controller card is correctly connected to the
backplane and that thermal compound has been applied to the
components.
4. Replace the controller.
5. Replace the motor.

1. Switch the power off and back on.

1. Switch the spray gun OFF and unplug the power cable from the
device.
2. Remove the motor cover.
3. Disconnect the motor cable connection and check the connector
for damage.
4. Reconnect the motor controller.
5. Switch on. If the error code is still shown, replace the motor.

Check the cable
connections. The
controller is not
receiving a motor
position sensor
signal.
1. Switch off the power (set to OFF).
2. Disconnect the motor position sensor and check the connector
for damage.
3. Reconnect sensor.
4. Switch on the power (set to ON). If the error code is still
shown, replace the motor.

The status indicator on the

flashes 17 times
Check the power
supply to the
spraying device
(the spraying
device is con-
nected to a power
supply with an
incorrect voltage
rating).
1. Switch the spray gun OFF and unplug the power cable from the
spraying device.
2. Locate a power supply that is working properly to avoid damage
to the electronics.
