QuickClean cleaning adapter to efficiently clean STORCH Airless devices
The QuickClean adapter requires a water connection, a water hose with connec-
tion coupling (e.g. Gardena) and a bucket to collect the dirty water.
Proceed as follows:
1.
Ensure the Airless gun trigger has been locked and the reversing tip has been
removed from the tip holder.
2.
Remove the vacuum hose from the container and clean it (including vacuum fil-
ter) on the outside with water or a compatible solvent. Unscrew the vacuum filter
from the vacuum pipe and clean the container.
3.
Screw the cleaning adapter onto the thread of the vacuum pipe.
Cleaning
Caution:
Never allow the device to run dry. If no material, or
water/solvent for cleaning, is processed, switch off the
device immediately. Check the cause.
Solvent and water based materials
When changing from a water-based to a solvent-based
material, you must first briefly flush the cleaned device
with the corresponding solvent.
After processing solvent-based materials, first flush the
device with the corresponding solvent, then with water
and detergent, then with water.
Never leave solvent in the device!
When changing from a solvent-based material to a water-
based material, first rinse with a suitable "mild" solvent
(e.g., terpentine), then with water and detergent, and
then again
with fresh water.
While flushing with solvent, earth the gun and the bucket.
The device must be thoroughly cleaned and flushed before
changing paint, at the end of the working day, before sto-
rage and before starting maintenance work.
