Preparing the device
1.
Attach the STORCH Air-
less hose to the spraying
device. The hose must be
designed for the maximum
working pressure of 230
bar. Screw on firmly and
avoiding leaks.
2.
Connect the other end of
the hose to a spray gun.
3.
Screw on firmly and avoi-
ding leaks.
4.
Remove the tip guard.
5.
Check the inlet screen for
clogging and deposits.
6.
Fill the packing nut with
piston oil to prevent pre-
mature wear of the seal.
Repeat this process for
each spraying procedure.
7.
Make sure the device is
switched off (OFF).
8.
Plug the mains cable into
a properly earthed electri-
cal socket.
9.
Open the bypass switch
(vertical).
10.
Place the suction system
in an earthed metal con-
tainer that is half-filled
with rinsing fluid. Attach
an earth wire to the contai-
ner and a good earth point.
Run through steps 1 - 5 of
the commissioning proce-
dure to flush any bearing
oil out of the system. Use
water to flush out water-
based paint and white spi-
rit to flush out oil-based
paint and bearing oil.
