NOTE 

 

The use of an HME filter is recommended! In this case, place the measuring probe 
between the HME filter and the ventilator. The HME filter protects the airway adapter 
from secretions and water vapor so that the adapter does not have to be replaced. 

 

 

NOTE 

 

The measured gas values should be checked regularly for accuracy by conducting 
comparative measurements. The gas section should be tested annually. 

 

 

NOTE 

 

After inserting the probe, a leakage test of the 

EVE

TR

 patient system is recommended. 

 

 

WARNING 

 

The airway adapter must be replaced if moisture or condensation collect on the inside.
