15.11 WAIT TIME FOR POSITION FIX

This menu allows selection of the maximum wait time for obtaining the position

information when receiving a Distress Alert, a POS Report Call, or an acknowl-

edgement to POS Request Call.
The default selection is 15 seconds.

When a DSC call is received, the alarm beeps may be turned ON or OFF. The

DSC calls that can be customized are: individual, group, all ships, position

request, and position report.
