8.3.1. Replacing hydraulic fine filter
The hydraulic fine filter ( Picture 8-2 ) is situated in the left-hand engine cowling.
Replace the hydraulic fine filter (see Picture 8-3 ):
1. Remove the left-hand cover plate of the engine cowling;
2. Unscrew the lid of the filter holder B by turning the lever counterclockwise;
3. Replace the filter element A and the sealing rings, which must be greased lightly;
4. Mount the lid of the filter holder and screw it tightly by hand;
5. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes;
6. Check the oil level (see § 8.1.2. Topping up oil );
7. Check for leakage;
8. Mount the removed cover plate.
CHECK / TEST!
Timely replace the hydraulic fine filter to prevent damage to the hydraulic system.
