Refreshing oil axle hubs
1. Make sure that the vehicle stands on a flat horizontal surface;
2. Before checking, make sure the wheel is positioned in such a way that the arrow points
downwards (
drain
), so

3. Put an oil tray under the
drainage plug A

4. Remove
drainage plug

and the
filler plug
B
;
5. Clean the
drainage plug
A
;
6. Mount the
drainage plug
A
;
7. Top up the drive axles via the filler neck till the oil reaches the edge and let it leak off
(see
§ 14.3.3. Specifications axles / brakes / tyres
8. Mount a new sealing ring on
filler plug B

9. Mount the
filler plug B
.
CAUTION!
The axle hubs and the oil are very hot if the truck is driven for quite some time.
CHECK / TEST!
Refresh the oil once per 2 years at normal operating conditions.
