Refreshing oil diesel engine truck
10.2.3.1.
Draining oil
Draining oil must be carried out as follows.
1. Place an oil tray (of sufficient size) under
drainage plug A
2. Remove the drainage plug from the
crankcase B
;
3. Let the oil drain from the crankcase;
4. Replace the copper sealing ring of the drainage plug by a new one;
5. Mount the drainage plug back on the crankcase;
6. Replace the oil filter element (see
§ 10.2.3.2. Replacing oil filter element
CHECK / TEST!
Timely refresh the oil to prevent damage to the engine.

When refreshing the oil, always replace the oil filter element immediately
(see
§ 10.2.3.2. Replacing oil filter element
CAUTION!
Draining oil may only be carried out when the engine is turned off.
The engine may not be started until the crankcase is sufficiently filled with oil
again. Drained oil may be hot!
CONDITIONS
The vehicle must stand on a flat horizontal surface;
The engine should preferably be warm.
