Drive off
1. Switch the transfer case to
off-the-road mode
(turtle) using the switch
transfer case
on-the-road /off-the-road mode
on the control panel:
-
The symbol
off-the-road mode
will be active on the
main screen

2. Check if the suspension is blocked:
-
If the symbol
axle blocking
on the
main screen
is active, the spring accumulators are
disabled and the suspension is blocked;
3. Turn the rotary switch to
position D
:
-
The gearbox switches to
forward
;
-
Keep the foot on the brake to prevent driving away unexpectedly!
-
The
display gearbox
shows the current gear;
4. Switch the gearbox to
manual mode
by moving the
gear lever
in automatic mode to the left
once and release the lever again;
5. Switch the gearbox to the 1
st
gear by moving the gear lever in the direction of the - (minus)
and release the lever again:
-
Repeat the movement till
1
will appear on the
display gearbox
;
6. Keep the foot of the brake en push gradually on the accelerator, so that the vehicle gradually
speeds up:
-
The maximum permissible acceleration and deceleration is 1 m/s
2

7. While driving keep an accurate eye on the speedometer and the spirit level in the truck cab
):
-
The maximum permissible vehicle speed is 3 kph (1.86 mph) (50 m/min);
-
The maximum permissible tilt of the vehicle is 2°.
CAUTION!
While driving with an erecter tower, NEVER activate the features
levelling
,
off-the-road mode
and
longitudinal and transversal differential lock
!
