7.2. DRL lighting (Daylight Running Lamps)
Both on the left and on the right side of the bumper, there are five LED indicators mounted for the
so-called DRL lighting (Daylight Running L amps) (see Picture 7-4 ).
If one of the LED lights is defective, it is advisable to replace the entire set of 5 LED lights.
These lights should be replaced as follows:
1. Remove the bumper from het supports as described in § 7.1. Low beam ;
2. Disconnect the plug from the bumper to the truck;
3. Cut the electrical wires of the five lights on the back of the bumper (see Picture 7-4 );
4. Remove the two screws with spring washers from each light;
5. Remove the lights;
6. Put the electrical wires of the new lights through the holes towards the back side of the
bumper;
7. Attach each light to the bumper using two bolts with spring washers;
8. Connect the wires together (see Picture 7-4 );
9. Connect the 2-pin connector of the transformer;
10. Connect the plug to the socket in the truck ( Picture 7-5 );
11. Check the function;
12. Replace the bumper.

INFORMATION!
One of the 5 LED lights is different and has only two electrical wires.
This light must be used as top light in the bumper (so this light is most far away
from the transformer).
