Once a particular S# has been changed and the P# is resaved after
any Editing process, selecting the EXIT symbol and then pressing the
accept (tick) button (
16 ) will take you back to the Operation Screen.
5) Options Screen
The Options Screen is accessed from the Operation Screen by
selecting OPT from the menu using the left (
14 ) or right ( 15 ) button to
illuminate and accepting by pressing the accept (tick) button ( 16 ).
An example of the Options Screen is shown above.
Under the Options Screen the options to change are:
1) Contrast – (Brightness of the screen display illuminations).
2) Backlight - (Brightness of the background).
3) Language – (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian options).
4) Units – (Choice of Tons, Tonnes, US Tons, Kgf (force) or KNewtons.
5) End Beep – (End of cycle audible alarm. Choice of On or Off).
6) Def. Prog – (To save a particular program from PZ or P1 to P6 as
the default program to use on Power Up).
7) Pump Temperature - (This is a display parameter only and cannot
be changed). If the pump temperature reaches approximately 55°C
the press will be inactivated for pumping a load. A warning message
“Pump Too Hot!” will be displayed on the screen. Only when the
pump cools down sufficiently will the message disappear and the
press can be used again. If the press pump continues to overheat,
please contact Specac for advice.
8) Software version information. - (This is a display parameter only and
cannot be changed).
