Detection sensor: Paper FG sensor
Contents: The paper FG sensor cannot detect the specified number during the roller cleaning
operation.
Possible cause: 1. Printing paper is jammed due to the cause such as the cleaning sheet is not attached
correctly.
2. The paper FG sensor or the harness is defective. (SE-935 board)

..... CHECK RIBBON & RETRY
ERROR LOG display: MARK ERROR
Detection sensor: Ribbon mark sensor
Contents: When the ink ribbon is wound, the ribbon cue mark cannot be detected.
Possible cause: 1. Ink ribbon is torn.
2. A ribbon mark sensor is dirty.
3. The ribbon mark sensor or the harness is defective. (LE-352 board, SE-934 board)
(Refer to “4-6. Sensor Detection”.)
4. A takeup motor or driving block is defective, so a ribbon cannot be wound or the
ribbon winding speed is slow. (SU-137 board)
(Refer to “4-2. Motor Control”.)
ERROR LOG display: TKUP FG ERROR
Detection sensor: Takeup FG sensor
Contents:
The ink ribbon is wound, but it is not rotated by the number of specified rotations.
Possible cause: 1. Ink ribbon is torn.
2. A takeup motor (supply motor) or driving block is defective, so a ribbon cannot be
wound or the ribbon winding speed is slow. (SU-137 board)

3. The takeup FG sensor or the harness is defective. (SE-936 board)
(Refer to “4-6. Sensor Detection”.)

ERROR LOG display: HEAD HOME ERROR
Detection sensor: Head home sensor, head position sensor
Contents:
During rotation of a head motor, it does not reach the HOME position.
Possible cause: 1. The head motor or driving block is defective. (SU-135 board, SU-136 board)
2. The head assembly is defective. (Refer to “4-2. Motor Control”.)
3. The head home sensor, head position sensor or the related harness is defective. (SE-
927 board) (Refer to “4-6. Sensor Detection”.)
..... HEAD POS ERROR

ERROR LOG display: HEAD PRT ERROR, HEAD PEEL ERROR or HEAD STBY ERROR
Detection sensor: Head home sensor, head position sensor
Contents:
During rotation of a head motor, it does not reach the PRT position, PEEL position or
STBY position.
Possible cause: 1. The head motor or driving block is defective. (SU-135 board, SU-136 board)
2. The head assembly is defective. (Refer to “4-2. Motor Control”.)
3. The head home sensor, head position sensor or the related harness is defective.
