Detection sensor: Paper size sensor and IC tag sensor

When the narrow ribbon of UPC-R203/R205 is installed, the paper width detection
sensor detects a lever and then detects the wide paper’s installation of UPC-R204/
R206.
.
When the wide ribbon of UPC-R204/R206 is installed, the paper width detection
sensor does not detect a lever and then detects the narrow paper’s installation of
UPC-R203/R205.
Possible cause: 1. The paper size sensor lever is defective.
2. The paper size sensor or the related harness is defective. (SE-929 board)

ERROR LOG display: FEED PASS OFF
Detection sensor: Paper pass sensor
Contents:
During loading, the printing paper does not reach the paper pass sensor although the
paper is transported.
Possible cause: 1. Printing paper is not loaded corrrectly.
2. Printing paper is abnormal in the form of the top, so it is caught during loading.
3. The roller to transport the printing paper is contaminated or worn, or the peripheral
area of roller is defective.
4. A stepping motor or driving block is defective, so paper is not fed correctly.

5. The paper pass sensor or the harness is defective. (LE-350 board, SE-932 board)

ERROR LOG display: FEED PASS ON
Detection sensor: Paper pass sensor
Contents: During loading, the printing paper stays in the paper pass sensor detection area
although the paper is transported.
Possible cause: 1. Printing paper is jammed.
2. The paper pass sensor is dirty.
3. The roller to transport the printing paper is contaminated or worn, or the peripheral
area of roller is defective.
4. A stepping motor or driving block is defective, so paper is not fed correctly.

5. The paper pass sensor or the harness is defective. (LE-350 board, SE-932 board)

Contents:
The printing paper does not reach the paper pass sensor although the paper is trans-
ported.
Possible cause: 1. Printing paper is jammed.

area of roller is defective.
