1-6-21. DC Fan (for inside)
1. Remove the top panel assembly.
(Refer to Section 1-4-1.)
2. Remove the side panel (R) assembly.
(Refer to Section 1-4-2.)
3. Remove the rear panel assembly.
(Refer to Section 1-4-3.)
4. Disconnect the two harnesses from the connectors
(CN17 and CN18) on the MEC-36 board.
5. Remove the four screws, then remove the two DC
fans.

When attaching the DC fans, place them with the label
side facing front.
6. Attach the DC fans (for inside) in the reverse order of
steps 1 to 5.

1-6-22. DC Fan (thermal head)
1. Remove the cabinet. (Refer to Section 1-4.)
2. Remove the pinch motor assembly.
(Refer to Section 1-6-6.)
3. Remove the takeup drive assembly.
(Refer to Section 1-6-8.)
4. Remove the head unit assembly.
(Refer to Section 1-6-19.)
5. Remove the four screws, then remove the two DC
fans.

When attaching the DC fans, place them with the label
side facing up.
6. Attach the DC fans (thermal head) in the reverse order
of steps 1 to 5.
