3-3-5 Inputting Edit P oints
Until now, there were only two methods of inputting edit points: using the IN,
OUT, and ENTRY buttons as on an HD VTR, or using the GUI of the control
panel. This section explains the latter.
For a more detailed explanation of editing operations, see Chapter 6, “Editing”.
To input edit points
Input edit points as follows:
1
Move the cursor to the edit point you want to input (either the IN or OUT
point) using the MULTI CONTROL knob.
2
Input the time data.
Input time data using the CURRENT TC ENTRY or MANUAL TC
ENTRY command.
2-1
If you press the B1 key (CURRENT TC ENTRY), the current time
data is input.
2-2
If you press the B2 key (MANUAL TC ENTRY), the Time Data
Entry dialog box appears and you can input time data.
For the Time Data Entry dialog box, see Section 3-7-1, “Time Data Entry
Dialog Box” (page 3-42).
Note
If either the IN or OUT point is input, you can input the edit interval length by
moving the cursor to duration (DUR) and running the MANUAL TC ENTRY
command.
