6-2 Basic Editing Operations
To set the IN point or OUT point

Position the cursor over IN or OUT using the MULTI CONTROL knob
and press the B2 key.
The Time Data Entry dialog box appears.

Enter the time data that you want to set.
For more on how to enter time data, see Section 3-7-1, “Time Data Entry Dialog
Box” (page 3-42).
To specify the duration and set IN or OUT points

Set the IN or the OUT point as described in, “To set the IN point or OUT
point” (or use the IN, OUT, or ENTRY buttons and the CURRENT TC
ENTRY command).

Position the cursor over DUR using the MULTI CONTROL knob, and
press the B2 key.
The Time Data Entry dialog box appears.

Enter the time data that you want to set.
For more on how to enter time data, see Section 3-7-1, “Time Data Entry Dialog
Box” (page 3-42).
Note
If you specify the duration using the CURRENT TC ENTRY command when
both IN and OUT points are already set, the OUT point is updated according
the new values.
