TRIM buttons
This button modifies the selected edit points one frame
at a time. Holding down the IN, OUT, AUDIO IN, or
AUDIO OUT button, press either of the two TRIM
buttons. The screen jumps forward one frame when you
press the + button, and jumps back one frame when you
press the - button.

DELETE button
This button deletes the selected edit points.
When you press either of the previously set (lit) IN or
OUT buttons at the same time as this button, the edit
point is deleted and the button goes out or flashes. If the
buttons you pressed flashes, you must specify the edit
point to be deleted.

REVIEW button
When you press this button after editing an interval, you
can play back the edited interval on the monitor.

AUTO EDIT button
Press this button after selecting an edit point to perform
automatic editing. Press this button when no IN point is
selected, the time data when this button is pressed is set
as the IN point and abbreviated editing starts.

PREVIEW button
After edit points are set, this button allows you to output
the editing results on the monitor before doing any edit
recording. Pressing this button does not start editing.
Press this button when no IN point is selected, the time
data when this button is pressed is selected as the IN
point, and the preview is performed.

DMC EDIT button
Press this button when you want to perform DMC
editing and it lights. Holding down this button and
turning the search dial sets the initial speed of the IN
point. Further, pressing this button when it is lit allows
you to confirm the initial speed set for the IN point.
