Insure that
OFF
is selected when adjustments are
complete.
Note:
The Grey-10 test pattern should be used for the test
when taking screen luminance measurements and creating
a FUNCTION with the standard luminance value of 14ft-
L (screen gain 1.8).
Theater Network Setup
The Auditorium Unit’s configuration for connecting to the
Theater Network is via a dedicated network connection on
the SMS Server. Configuration of this connection is
realized using the Network Setup screen on the
Projectionist Terminal.
Settings available on the Network Setup screen apply to
the SMS Server’s Theater Network connection only.
Typically, the Screen
Management System
Controller is connected to
the
Theater Network
. If
the Theater Network
settings are incorrect then
access to the Auditorium
Unit from the Screen
Management System
Controller is not possible.
To access Theater
Network Setup, tap
Menu
and then tap
Network
Setup
. The Network
Setup screen appears
Two groups appear on the
Theater Network Setup
screen. They are; IP
ADDRESS ASSIGNMENT and DNS ADDRESS
ASSIGNMENT.
IP Address Assignment
The IP ADDRESS ASSIGNMENT group includes
settings for the SMS Server’s IP address, the Subnet Mask,
and, when needed, the IP address of the Gateway between
the Auditorium Unit and the Theater Network.
